Interest continues to be strong for a curling club here in the city! We've heard from at least 70 people that are interested in the sport. Next Tuesday, Mar 23rd, we'll be meeting to discuss plans for the Club. We'll be at the Fox & Hound(Waterfront) at 6:30 PM. If you would like to be a part of the planning process, or have ANY input that could help make this club a success please show up! Email me or sign up above to let me know that you'll be attending. We especially need people with expertise in:
-marketing
-web development
-legal matters(we will eventually get registered as a non-profit organization)
-organizational structure
-fabrication(would be cheaper if we were able to make a lot of our own equipment)
-passion for the sport of curling:)
If you can't make it but would still like to be involved in planning let me know. We have a lot of interest and if we can expand a little more on what we already have, we can make a really strong organization!
